I found the Earth-shattering kaboom(s)

I can see some of the fireworks (despite the efforts of buildings, trees, and the like to block my view) but even if I couldn't see them, I'd certainly be able to hear them.

Is it just me, or are they louder than usual this year?

i love that symphony! especially as, right after the crescendo, it moves directly into Angry SUV Horns in G.
