i am another person who has found many delightful new authors thanks to LJ (and i have "met" authors i had already discovered in print)
i am occasionally disconcerted to find people who don't have books in their homes. (you know, the kind of people who use bookshelves to hold pictures and knicknacks...). if i leave the house without at least one book AND my "paper" journal i feel like i have forgotten something....(like my pants)
