I drove by around 1:30, on my way to a friend's place near there. Quite a good crowd even then, and I could see lots more heading in. So what actually happened at 2:38? If anything?

With probably more than 100 folks there, it's not that surprising that I didn't see everyone I knew who was there.

I was trying to get my LJ voiceposting to work; I eventually had to log in on my Palm and reset my PIN...which meant I missed voiceposting the countdown. Sigh.
