the "Who are you and why did you friend me" meme

(acquired from [livejournal.com profile] sweetmmeblue)

Please tell me who you are (or something about you) and why you friended me.

Then, if you are curious about the folks who've friended you (possibly including me), post this on your LJ.

You friended me first, and I knew from your comment (and your oh-so-sneaky initials, I think) that you were someone I'd met at WorldCon, and I friended you back.

About me...I'm a Minneapolitan, a former nuclear physics grad student, a Finnophile, a soon-to-be-dog owner, and some other stuff.

I liked your LJ entries. I'm new to LJ and am slowly friending people who consistently enter thoughtful/humorous/unusual entries.

Me ... have a fatal weakness for chocolate pudding pie, am freckled (everywhere), love happy endings, avoid movies and books where reviewers laud their "gritty realism," can't parallel park without about ninety feet of clearance (and even then it takes some back and forth), and refuse to call the spectacle last night a "debate" -- it was propaganda bought and paid for by the one-party dictatorship -- the Repubocrats. *hrmph*

I guess this is currently under discussion in my journal huh? I friended you as I only ever see you once in a great while and wonder about you more frequently than that. This gives me a way to see what's up with you.

I am your wife's old college roommate. I love her, and therefore I love you. And even though I'm a lazy bum and live 30 minutes from you, I never actually see you anymore, so this is my way of keeping up.
