I was in the audience for the big LJ panel on Saturday, so I checked out your LJ.

In addition, your name sounds familiar, which I suspect is from the ne.* USENET groups...you are/were a TIAC user, if I remember right.

Actually, my "TIAC Sucks (http://www.maranci.net/tiacsux.htm)" site still gets a remarkable number of hits. I can't help but wonder why. :D

My memory cells just stirred into activity. Dirac Angestun Gesept = Eric Frank Russell. Thanks for reminding me - I haven't read Wasp in ages! I'll have to dig it up.

So was TIAC difficult to deal with? Or were you able to avoid them?

They were very easy to deal with, because they needed my feed and I didn't need theirs.
