Overnights, 2022
Almost a year ago, I posted the 2021 list and closed it with "(2022 so far: Cambridge, MA / Boston, MA / Seattle, WA and BOS, LAX*, SEA.)".
That list from January 4th is the *entire* 2022 list.
Cambridge, MA
Boston, MA (only because my flight was cancelled and the replacement was an early morning flight, so I booked the airport Hilton for convenience)
Seattle, WA
Airports (* = connection only): BOS, LAX*, SEA.
(Almost added SJC as the "original" LAX-SEA part of my rebooking was also cancelled, but it seemed dubious to add yet another connection to what was supposed to be a nonstop and the LAX Sky Club was probably nicer than the lounge at SJC.)
Still managed to requalify for Platinum Medallion based on rollover miles from 2019/2020/2021 and the credit card waiver, but my Diamond years (extended status from a lot of 2019 travel) have come to an end at least for now.

My list is similarly short -- overnights were Mountain View, CA and Newport, VA; airports were SFO and RDU (a nonstop flight and then driving to Virginia, which turned out to take the same amount of time as a second hop to ROA and driving from there would have been). I'm still in Virginia, so that's only one flight for the year. I missed adding Guerneville, CA by a couple of days, since we came home from that trip just before 2021 ended.
It does seem odd that we both traveled more in 2021 than 2022.

2021 still had a mask mandate on airlines/in airports and, for most of it, no Omicron variant. Those changes significantly affected my risk budget calculations for 2022 and therefore knocked out the 2-3 trips I probably would have made with 2021-level risks.
Looking back at my overnights/airports posts I have marked some airports as "landside visit only" due to similar events (NEXUS interview at BFI, person pickup at PBG, rental car replacement at BTV) so I probably would have done the same for that. (Also, nice logistical hack there!)

I did do over 13,000 mi in road trips, though.
