Yeah... my only overnights this year were local ones to see boyfriends.

I'm trying to remember if I had any. But, yes, I think I did one weekend long climbing trip to the Laurentians -- so two over-nights about 200km away.

Well, you seem to be doing well so far in 2022! I wasn't going to be able to go to Arisia even if it were happening, because of my new job, but I was hoping Zyxwvut would go. But it seems reasonable to cancel, however disappointing. I miss Arisia.

Well, 2022-so-far should have been just Cambridge / Seattle and BOS, SEA but the original nonstop was cancelled; I got an early morning reroute through LAX and decided to stay at the airport hotel rather than in Cambridge. I did get home...eventually. (More delays due to the LAX-SEA flight I was originally on being cancelled as well; I almost wound up flying BOS-LAX-SJC-SEA.)

I also miss Arisia, though I'd resigned myself to not going well before it officially cancelled. I'm not hopeful about Boskone, and pretty uncertain about almost everything else I'd normally be planning to attend. (I'm not uncertain about Readercon, but only because they've already declared that they're taking the year off.)

That's more than I would have guessed you did last year. But then, I'm not really keeping track.

I spend nine nights on the road to and from Vancouver, WA, staying in Arcata, Coos Bay, Cannon Beach, Portland, Vancouver and Weed. I also spent three nights in Lacey/Seattle. That's it!

This year: three weeks in Sweden unless there's another major variant outbreak + lockdown.
