There's nothing I can say about the aftermath of Katrina that would do my blood pressure any good whatsoever. If you're reading my LJ and weren't aware of Making Light aka makinglight; well, now you are.

Okay, there's one thing I can say: consider America's Second Harvest as a donation target for folks unhappy for whatever reason(s) with the Red Cross, Salvation Army, or other organizations (or who just want to spread the help, since the RC is getting money via Amazon, the iTunes Music Store, etc).
